The Hillsborough Special Services department is looking for student volunteers, ages 13 and older, for our Extended School Year (ESY) program.  The district’s ESY program is for students in our self-contained classes, preschool through high school, who experience significant regression of skills during prolonged breaks from school.  The ESY program runs from July 8 - August 16, 2013; volunteer hours 9:00-11:00 or 9:00-12:30 are available.  Please print the attached application. 

Interviews for prospective new volunteers will be held on May 20, 2013 in the Hillsborough High School Child Study Team office beginning at 2:30.  There will be an orientation at Hillsborough High School for all volunteers on June 24, 2013 from 9:00-10:00; assignments will be given out at that time.  To set up a time for an interview call the special services department at 431-6600 X 2387.
